Net Impact Ambassador Program
Help Net Impact extend our global reach! Since its launch in June of 2007, the Net Impact Ambassadors Program has equipped Net Impact enthusiasts to spread the word about Net Impact beyond the US.
In 2009, the Ambassadors Program is shifting its focus to become a more core part of Net Impact’s international expansion efforts. The new focus for Ambassadors is to extend the Net Impact Network by helping start new chapters. Ambassadors will be equipped to lead interested groups through the process of chapter building from start to finish. The new focus will help Ambassadors be more focused in their efforts and achieve measurable success.
Becoming an Ambassador is ideal for anyone spending a few months outside the US, especially for students studying abroad. As a Net Impact Ambassador you will have the opportunity to help build the Net Impact international network of over 50 chapters and meet like-minded members from around the world.

A Net Impact Ambassador is an international volunteer representative of Net Impact who works to expand the Net Impact network by helping Net Impact generate new chapter leads and launch new chapters. The ambassador program is flexible and works within your time frame.
Goals for Net Impact Ambassadors:
• Generate new chapter leads
Example: Attend meetings and events where individuals may be interested in Net Impact. Introduce Net Impact and explain the opportunities involved in starting a chapter
• Build and launch new chapters
Example: If you are spending a few months in a specific location, help interested individuals organize themselves and create a chapter
Requirements for Net Impact Ambassadors:
• Potential Ambassadors must be dues paying Net Impact members
• Ambassadors are selected by Net Impact based on a short application
• Net Impact will provide you with chapter building tools and resources, provide contacts when possible, and help measure your success
• This is a time bounded activity – you determine how much time you want to invest
• This is a great resume builder, particularly if you can translate your actions into results!
Net Impact aims to be flexible in providing support and resources to its ambassadors. The resources available to a Net Impact ambassador include but are not limited to
• Dedicated staff time (answering emails, creating resources, talking on Skype)
• Informational and marketing resources (presentations, talking points, brochures)
• Orientation resources (get oriented with Net Impact and our mission, values)
• Introductions to our members when available
