Jennifer Walske is a leading advocate for raising the social consciousness of global businesses. Dr. Walske is a Faculty Fellow at the Blum Center for Developing Economies, and a Social Impact Fellow at the Haas School of Business, U.C. Berkeley, publishing with Dr. Laura Tyson, Faculty Director of Haas’ Institute for Business and Social Impact. As a writer, researcher and entrepreneur, Dr. Walske promotes emerging social startups and venture firms, with an emphasis on how human and social capital can strategically maximize new firm success.
As the former Program Director of Conscious Leadership & Social Innovation at USF, and Faculty Director of the Global Social Venture Competition – a worldwide program that develops next generation social entrepreneurs – she is recognized for coaching future leaders of emergent social venture firms, drawing on experience as a board member of various nonprofits and for profits, as well as an investor, and co-founder of Myriad Investments LLC, where she remains a partner. Professor Walske also sits on the boards of San Francisco Ballet, Net Impact, and on the advisory board of Better Ventures.
