Dear Net Impact Community,

It is with mixed feelings that I announce that I will be moving on from Net Impact in early 2019. It has been a true honor, privilege, and joy to serve you all as CEO since 2004. I am so proud of what this community has accomplished on campus, in workplaces, and in the community. Thank you for your engagement with our chapters, conference, and beyond, and for all your future support as well.

Stay tuned for longer reflections from me in January as I look back on this tremendous journey for both me and the organization.  There are great things to come for Net Impact, and we look forward to an outstanding 2019 and beyond!

Sincerely,

Liz Maw

Dear Net Impact Community,

Net Impact started more than 25 years ago with the mission to mobilize new generations to use their skills and careers to drive transformational social and environmental change. For the past 14 years, Liz has led the organization to new reach and global impact.  With tens of thousands of current and former Net Impact chapter members and more than 400 chapters worldwide, the Net Impact network is a diverse and determined force for good.

In the New Year, we as a board will be launching a search for Liz’s replacement. In the interim, Jeni Izuel, Net Impact’s COO and CFO will serve as the organization’s interim CEO.  Jeni has been an extraordinary leader within Net Impact for over a decade. As the organization’s COO and CFO, she has directed much of the organization’s day to day operations and will continue to work with the board through this transition as we seek a new CEO.

As Net Impact moves to 2019 we are excited about our future.  Once novel, the idea of using skills and careers to drive change is increasingly accepted—even expected-- and we have evolved our mission to inspire and equip emerging leaders to build a more just and sustainable world.  In this past year, we launched a new strategic plan that positions Net Impact for an even brighter future. Our work has never been as important as it is now. With Liz, we have mapped out a transition plan and established a search committee to find the organization’s next leader.

We will miss Liz, but she has clearly set the foundation for our next phase of growth and impact.

We are so grateful for the impact Liz has made on Net Impact.  We wish her well.

Sincerely,

Dave Stangis

Chair, Net Impact Board of Directors
