I craft content and create connections for the Net Impact conference. From researching topical concepts to developing speaker sessions, I help shape the experience for expanding educational and networking opportunities during the gathering.
Prior to joining Net Impact, I worked at Spitfire Strategies, a communications consulting firm serving progressive nonprofit and foundation clients. I also helped build frank, an international three-day conference for public interest communicators and strategists, and graduated with honors from the University of Florida with a degree in public relations.
The most satisfying thing about my work is: Constantly learning new ways that social innovation leaders are using their resources to make an impact, and then getting to turn around and share those insights with others.
The skill that has helped me is: I love geeking out over personality tests. Myers-Briggs is my go-to, usually. Get me chatting about types and I get so excited. I think my love of these various traits help me find the best in my teammates and how we can balance each other. (I’m an ENFP, in case you were wondering!)
I never leave the house without: I used to say my camera, but now it’s just my phone. I love capturing moments throughout my day from behind the lens.
