Matthew became a member of Net Impact in October 2018. He comes from the outdoor industry, working in bicycle shops for over 8 years. Starting his bicycle shop career in Long Beach in 2010, he moved back to the Bay Area in 2014 to finish his undergraduate degree. After landing a marketing internship with Goodwill Industries, his joy for nonprofits came to fruition. As a marketing intern for Goodwill, Matthew helped lead and design a campaign around textile waste and environmental sustainability in the local San Francisco community.
Matthew graduated in December 2018 with a B.S. in Business Administration, with an emphasis in marketing. He continues to be an active environmentalist, cyclist, and computer gamer.
- When I need to relax, I: Go to the mountains. On foot or on mountain bike, with a book and DPB&J (double peanut-butter & jelly) sandwich is where I find my center.
