Sarah Horowitz

Over the past decade, Sarah has worked in the nonprofit sector as an advocate for the arts, education, and social justice. She has dedicated her career to building support for organizations with missions that she is most passionate about. Since 2010, she has volunteered with First Exposures, a nationally recognized youth photography and mentoring program based in San Francisco, CA. Joining Net Impact in January 2019, Sarah works with the outreach team, connecting and engaging with the next generation of change-makers across the world.

  • I grew up wanting to be:  a poet or an artist. While not working full-time as such, I do still write and create in my free time.
  • The best advice I ever got was: to make a decision and stick to it. I think this boils down integrity and accountability: you must be responsible for your own actions.
  • What surprises me most about my career path is: that it has evolved as I do.
