(PHILADELPHIA, PA) – Net Impact, the leading global non-profit that mobilizes the next generation to use their skills and careers to make a positive impact on the world, will host their 2016 Net Impact Conference in Philadelphia from November 3rd – 5th at the Pennsylvania Convention Center (1101 Arch Street).

The Net Impact Conference will gather over 2,500 students and professionals who are committed to making a lasting social and environmental impact now and throughout their careers. Featured speakers include:

“This year’s conference will ‘make history’ in Philadelphia, a city that built the framework for freedom and justice for all,” said Liz Maw, CEO of Net Impact. “In one of the fastest growing millennial cities, Net Impact will gather one of the largest groups of students from around the world to find solutions for global issues just days before the 2016 presidential election. In addition to national companies and non-profits, local social and environmental leaders from organizations like MilkCrate, Philabundance, Mural Arts and Aramark will share their expertise.”

The conference will feature more than 80 breakout sessions in the form of boot camps, panels and debates, all designed to address the world’s toughest challenges, such as climate change, health and wellness, social justice, social entrepreneurship, and food systems. Attendees will look for new solutions through social entrepreneurship, impact investing, and purposeful careers.

The conference will also feature career advancement opportunities during the Career Expo, which allows attendees to network with professionals and recruiters from international corporations, social enterprises, and nonprofits that have the ability and drive to use their organizations for social and environmental good. At the Career Corner, attendees can spend 15 minutes one-on-one with an Idealist professional or have their headshots taken by a professional photographer for
their LinkedIn profiles.
