Marcus Chung
A corporate social responsibility (CSR) leader with sourcing and supply chain expertise, Marcus has held CSR and strategy roles at Gap, McKesson, and Talbots. Marcus serves as Vice President, Social Responsibility & Vendor Compliance for specialty apparel retailer The Children's Place, leading a global team responsible for protecting garment workers' rights and minimizing environmental impact in the company's supply chain. Through partnerships with local and global stakeholders, leadership in industry associations, and integrating CSR throughout the company, the Social Responsibility & Vendor Compliance team seeks to create opportunities where both the company and communities benefit and thrive.
Marcus earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with honors from Wesleyan University and an MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. He served two terms on the board of directors for Net Impact.

R. Paul Herman
An internationally recognized expert in impact investing, Paul invented the “HIP = Human Impact + Profit” ratings system in 2004. The HIP Investor team rates and ranks more than 8,500 investments and funds globally. HIP’s Ratings reveal undiscovered risks and potential sources of untapped returns. Herman’s landmark book, The HIP Investor: Make Bigger Profits by Building a Better World, published by John Wiley & Sons, swiftly became a top 20 business book bestseller in April 2010 and is now integrated into 21 university curricula for MBAs, MPAs, and undergraduate students. HIP’s industry rankings have been featured in Fast Company in 2007, 2008, and 2010. HIP has also advised corporate clients, like Walmart and Nike, on how to be more HIP.
Paul’s financial expertise began with his Wharton School finance degree and corporate advising at McKinsey & Co. Paul is an adjunct professor teaching MBAs at Thammasat Business School in Bangkok, Thailand, and a visiting lecturer for MBAs, including the Presidio MBA Graduate School in San Francisco.

Shannon Houde
Shannon Houde is founder of Walk of Life Consulting Limited, an international career advisory business focused solely on the sustainability, social impact, international development, and Corporate Responsibility (CR) fields. For more than 15 years, she has mentored and trained 700-plus professionals and Masters graduates to maximize their personal brands to advance their impact careers. Shannon became a sustainability career coaching to combine her diverse experience as a hiring manager, a business coach, and a CR consultant for Deloitte, Barclays, Macromedia, and WWF, after having started her career 20 years ago in corporate recruiting. She blogs as a sustainability career columnist for Greenbiz, Triple Pundit, and more; speaks regularly on panels; and runs workshops in recruiting, HR, and sustainability.
Shannon holds an MBA in International Management, with a focus on CR, from Thunderbird in Arizona, as well as a BS in Sociology from the University of Colorado.
