Want to volunteer but not sure what opportunities are available? Join us for a discussion on giving back for busy professionals.

Studies show that volunteering helps to build communities, is good for your health and may help you grow professionally - whether at your current job or to land a job. However, if you're a busy professional, it can be tough to find an opportunity that allows you to give back and move forward. At this event, you will hear speakers from Business Volunteers Maryland, the World Trade Center Institute, and Under Armour on how they are connecting people to volunteer opportunities in various ways.

The event is open to business and nonprofit professionals in Baltimore who are looking to connect with others committed to driving positive social and environmental change in the work place and in the world.

We will gather at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, which is located in the Legg Mason Building in Harbor East. After the discussion, we will head to Lebanese Taverna, located near the bottom of the building, for food, drinks, and networking.
