In the heart of the prime real estate area known as Thonglor, there is a green patch of community garden amongst the famous nightclubs, bars and restaurants.
Operated by Oxfam, with the support from Thai Health Promotion Foundation and Jayavana Foundation, the garden offers a place close to home, where city kids and adults can be with nature and learn how to make the best use out of their lands for sustainable lifestyle, no matter how small space is available. A small shop in front of the farm offers fresh-brewed coffee, eggs hatched by on-site chickens, juices and organic vegetables.
Join us on this trip to learn about this little green gem in the heart of the City of Angels and together discuss with Oxfam of the inspirations of this project.
