The Hult Prize is the sustainable social enterprise competition I talked about at orientation. If you’re interested in competing this year, read further.

The Clinton Global Initiative annual conference is happening this week and tomorrow, 9/23 will be the final round of last year’s competition. The winners from last year’s regionals (Dubai, London, San Fran, Boston, Shanghai, Frankfurt) will make their final pitches and the winner of the $1m will be decided. The event is being livestreamed. How this concerns us is:

· This year’s competition’s prompt/problem-to-be-addressed will be announced at the event.
· We’ll get to see what the pitch experience is like / how it should be presented
· We’ll get to make fun of their terrible ideas

It’s also a chance to learn about it from those of us who competed last year, and scout out possible teammates for this year.

The event starts at 5:15pm and goes until 8:30 (6 pitches + speeches by Clinton, Muhammad Yunus, etc. + set up time.) We’re going to try to get pizza, so let me know if you’re interested so that we can get a headcount. Room is TBD.
