What do Bristol’s Floating Harbour, St Mary Redcliffe and Windmill Hill City Farm all have in common?

Each representing part of Bristol’s environmental history, these landmarks signify the diversity of the sustainability action that has occurred across the last forty years in our city.

Join Net Impact Bristol for a guided walk through the city centre via Bedminster to Southville to find out more about some of the fantastic and inspiring green activities designed to create healthier and happier communities.

We will be popping into Windmill Hill City Farm to see the site as we learn about how the farm was founded.

Along the way you’ll also have the opportunity to chat with other Bristol-based sustainability professionals and we'll finish the evening with a well-deserved drink at the Tobacco Factory!

The information on the walk is drawn from Bristol’s Green Roots, a Schumacher Institute project that documented the city’s history of environmental action. Emmelie Brownlee, the project co-ordinator, will be our guide.
