Travelled to the Tastykake green bakery in Philadelphia, PA and received a tour of the bakery with the VP of operations. He explained many of the initiatives they have taken to reduce waste and space and increase efficiency. We then traveled to The Hershey Company in Hershey, PA and received an overview of their Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives from their CSR manager. Representatives from The Hershey Company Human Resources Department then gave an overview of internship and job opportunities at The Hershey Company.
