Our activities, industrial or personal, create a lot of waste products. This waste generation is ignored in most cases and we move on. However, the effect this has is tremendous in the form of small pulses or as a giant wave of secondary issues. We need to discuss these issues, talk about them, act on them. For example, here at ESMT, we plan to replace all the plastic cups with reusable bottles and glasses. What waste generation/management problem have you noticed at your workplace and how do you think it can be solved?
