Net Impact has partnered with the Toyota Mobility Foundation and Howard University Robotics Organization for the second Next Generation Mobility Challenge, an event series for students in all degree programs and disciplines. In day-long workshops, teams of students are trained to use human-centered design to develop and pitch business and product solutions for 21st century mobility concerns. The 2016-2017 challenge will promote interdisciplinary learning and action through an enhanced workshop program with a focus on inclusion and equity in modern transportation.
Winners from each event will receive expert feedback and Toyota mentorship. Ultimately, one team will be selected to build out their idea concept as part of a paid summer internship with the Toyota Mobility Foundation.
