The kickoff meeting for the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School chapter of Net Impact drew a large crowd of students from almost all of our academic programs. The meeting started off with a brief description of what the mission and values of Net Impact are and its global structure. We discussed ways for students to get involved and take on leadership positions and gave an overview of the Net Impact Conference and the benefits of attending. In addition to highlighting some of our key successes from last year, we also shared our ideas for activities we are are going to take on this year, such as the Hult Prize at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, Financial Literacy Day, and our annual Our Mission in Action speaker series. The meeting concluded with a networking happy hour.
