The November Carey Net Impact chapter meeting was hosted at the end of October to kick off and create excitement around the Movember event. The chapter meeting, which included the Movember kick off social attracted new potential Net Impact members. To start the meeting, we recapped the success of the first lecture of the Mission in Action Lecture Series. In addition to an introduction to Movember, during the meeting, we discussed the upcoming Hackathon with IBM and Baltimore County Public Schools to promote STEM education. We discussed the upcoming Hult competition and encouraged members to form teams. As there were new members at the meeting, we concluded the meeting with a general overview of Net Impact, highlighted the upcoming conference and answered any member questions.
