The Carey Net Impact October Chapter Meeting served to brief members of upcoming events and ways to get involved. Specifically, we shared information and answered questions regarding the NI14 conference and spent a significant amount of time introducing Hult and exploring ideas and developing a planning committee. We also spoke about other events coming up such as President’s Day of Service, our first speaker for the Our Mission in Action Speaker Series, and a partnership we are forming with IBM and Baltimore County Public Schools for STEM education via a hackathon. Finally, we opened up the floor for questions and the opportunity to announce related events taking place in the community and bring new ideas to the group.
