"From Banker to Entrepreneur"

Josh holds an MBA from the University of Texas and a Bachelors from Washington and Lee.

Uninspired by his career in banking, Josh decided to leave the corporate world and pursue his passion for running.

Josh opened the first of his five Charm City Run stores in Timonium in 2001. Thirteen years later, Charm City Run now has five locations. Charm City Run continues to donate 1% of all its revenue to local environmental causes totaling more than $250,000 to date.

Speaker Josh Levinson, a 1993 graduate of Washington and Lee University, started Charm City Run in 2002. He now has 5 stores located throughout the greater Baltimore-Annapolis region. His company provides running and walking shoes for the novice to the most avid runner. In addition, Charm City Run provides other resources to the community such as event management services, a training website, and numerous fundraising activities. Charm City Run just recently launched an in-store campaign to provides shoes to Soles4Souls, a global not for profit institution dedicated to fighting the impact and perpetuation of poverty. Additionally, Charm City Run works to inspire children and families to improve their health and exercise routine.
