CURRENT LOKEY STUDENTS:
Are you interested in assisting a local non-profit?

Each spring, teams of Lokey students participate in a Net Impact initiative called Service Corps. Small teams of students volunteer to assist local nonprofits with projects for which our Management and Policy skills can help. The commitment is about 4 hours a week for three months in the spring semester (Feb - April). The projects are supervised by Professor Seth Barad, an experienced consultant to nonprofits.

For now, there are two questions for which Seth would like your input:
Are you interested in participating next spring? If so, please let him know by October 12th at sbarad@mills.edu. He would like to gauge the level of interest. No application required.
Do you have specific areas of interest that could help guide the selection of the projects? For example: Immigration; Women/Diversity in Tech; Education; or any other. Please let Seth know that when you reply.
