She strongly believes that you don’t have to choose between making a living and making a difference. Michelle has significant executive-level experience in fast-growing, entrepreneurial environments. She is known as an organization effectiveness expert with proven success in driving and managing change and delivering solutions.

Michelle has been the Vice President of Human Resources for ComPsych Corporation worldwide since 2014. ComPsych is the world’s largest provider of employee assistance programs, providing expert resources to more than 29,000 organizations covering more than 78 million individuals in over 130 countries. Reporting to the Founder and CEO, she leads all human capital strategies and operations. She was brought on board with the primary goal of reinventing ComPsych’s employment brand and employee experience. This transformation is underway through her efforts in leading such areas as Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Total Rewards, Culture, Engagement and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Prior to joining ComPsych, Michelle was the Vice President of People at GiveForward, the #1 platform to start a medical fundraiser. There she provided strategic leadership and improved organization effectiveness to rapidly scale this early-stage internet start-up. Solving growth challenges through workforce solutions such as organization structure, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, culture, learning and development, Michelle was instrumental in the company’s success in helping people raise millions of dollars for loved ones. She also directed their industry-leading customer service/operations team and helped GiveForward earn the ‘Best & Brightest Companies to Work For’ award in both 2013 and 2014.

Before GiveForward, Michelle served in various social impact and leadership roles including roles at the YWCA and Babson College. She’s especially proud of the 16 years she spent helping lead and grow ASAP Software from early stage through its sale to Dell, Inc. in 2007. While at ASAP she was the driving force behind the company’s numerous employer-of-choice awards and community impact efforts.

Michelle holds a B.S. Management from Indiana University and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Michelle is active in the Chicagoland community through volunteerism and spends free time travelling and with family.
