Open Board Position: Vice President/Treasurer, Net Impact Philadelphia Professional Chapter
The Net Impact (NI) Philadelphia Chapter is seeking a Vice President to serve as a leader on our board and partner with the President on finances and strategic goals.
This role would primarily be responsible for the chapter’s financial management and planning and partnering with the President on driving the agenda for the year. This is a great role that plugs into a very active social impact & business community in Philadelphia.
-- Attend monthly meetings (either conference call or in-person)
-- Attend annual retreat to plan year's programming
-- Partner with board members on planning
-- Create and maintain chapter budget
-- Manage chapter revenue and expenses along with reporting transparency
-- Drive financial discipline
-- Assist the president with administrative chapter responsibilities and strategic planning
-- Motivated to positively impact the local community
-- Organized, responsive, and reliable
-- Experience in expense management and budget creation
-- Able to attend monthly events and participate in monthly meetings (by phone or in-person, dependent on the month)
-- Strong business communication skills
-- Ability to commit at least one year of service
-- This position typically requires a time commitment of 1-3 hours a week, plus meeting times and events.
-- NI Philadelphia Chapter does not require monetary contributions from its Board Members, however, Board Members purchase their own tickets to events when applicable
-- Must be a Premium Member of our chapter ($65 a year)
