Impact investments are made into companies, organizations, and funds with the intention to generate a measurable, beneficial social or environmental impact alongside a financial return. With help from the Price Center sponsored Haskamp Fellowship, Sandy spent her summer at Tides, a foundation that grants almost $100 million each year to nonprofit organizations in the U.S. and abroad. She analyzed opportunities in the impact investing field and decided where the organization should be positioned as part of a strategic realignment process.
