We approached Young Mountain Tea (YMT), a local Eugene startup, about a potential project we could execute on their behalf. YMT created a US market for Indian farmers growing tea with organic and biodynamic methods. YMT also provides work-service tours for Americans to visit and experience these farms in India. They asked us to research and write a report about market potential for black specialty Indian tea in the Pacific Northwest. The project served as a collaboration opportunity for the graduate and undergraduate chapters of UO Net Impact.
