Bio: Kirsten Tobey, Co-Founder and Chief Impact Officer, Revolution Foods. Revolution Foods has transformed the way America eats by providing access to healthy, affordable meals and is the main source for meals with the SFUSD. Kirsten began her career teaching and leading education programs in the U.S. and Latin America. She is an Ashoka Fellow, Aspen Institute Environmental Fellow, member of the Culinary Institute of America's Sustainable Business Leadership Council and past mentor for the Women's Initiative Fellowship Program.

Synopsis: Ms. Tobey will discuss how consumer sentiment is changing towards the foods that we eat. Explore such questions as: How does the savvy consumer balance healthy, locally sourced, and affordability for important, daily meals? How has change in consumer awareness and appetite impacted the demand for healthy meals in both schools and in homes? Finally, Ms. Tobey will discuss how she and her business school classmate, Kristin Richmond, co-founded Revolution Foods, and their ongoing path to scale and profitability as a B Lab certified corporation.
