This event brought together local Charlottesville businesses and the Vice President of Sustainability for Hilton WorldWide, Maxime Verstraete as the keynote speaker. The event opened with a lecture from Mr. Verstratete about his work with Hilton WorldWide. We then had a moderated Q&A with Mr. Verstraete and 5 local sustainable businesses, Relay Foods, Birch Studio, MBDC, Rivanna Natural Designs, and Acorn Graphic Designs about the practices of sustainable business. After, students were able to mingle and talk with the guests.
