The Hult Prize at Wisconsin is an exciting opportunity for student teams from across the university to collaborate on profitable solutions to complex social challenges. In many ways, the Hult Prize is the “Wisconsin Idea” in action—an opportunity to focus campus energy and talents towards ambitious and important problems in our local and global communities. This year’s challenge is dedicated to developing business solutions for improving Early Childhood Education and registrations are now being accepted for local pitch competition to be held on December 5, 2014.

Network with Global Leaders, Win a 1-year Membership to CGI and receive One Million Dollars in seed capital to launch your start-up:
Winning the Hult Prize at Wisconsin pitch competition event will automatically advance you to a regional finals competition where teams get to pitch their start-up in front of world-class judges, mentors and advisers. Each of the regional winning teams will receive a one-year membership to the Clinton Global Initiative and get the chance to pitch ideas to President Clinton and win $1 million in seed funding.

Hult Prize Accelerator Program: Each regional winner will be accepted to an intense summer accelerator program where your winning idea will become real. World-class mentors, market testing and access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources are a few of the features that will help you with rapid prototyping and scale.

Registering is easy. You don't need to have an existing idea or be an education expert to crack the President's challenge: The Hult Prize is designed for you to get started changing the world now! No prior experience in social impact or Education is required.

You do not need to write a full business plan, just work on developing a compelling 5-minute pitch and do enough homework to demonstrate the viability of your ambitious plans.
