Please join Net Impact and the William James Foundation for an evening with Honest Tea. Led by Seth Goldman, "TeaEO" of Honest Tea, you will have the opportunity to hear from the Honest Tea leadership, sample Honest Tea’s newest drinks, and mingle with fellow Net Impact members and staff of the William James Foundation. Tea and refreshments will be provided.

This event is a great opportunity to get an in-depth, behind the scenes view of one of the most exciting and innovative companies around. In an effort to ensure that attendees are able to have a full experience, we will be structuring the event like our speed networking events. After initial mingling and introductions, we will have senior staff from Honest Tea, Net Impact, and the William James Foundation stationed around the room to facilitate introductions and conversations between smaller groups of attendees. This will allow our guests the opportunity to network with like-minded professionals and students, hear several different perspectives on Honest Tea, engage with Net Impact leadership about the upcoming conference (or any topic of your choosing), and learn more about the exciting ideas coming out of the William James Foundation.

This is a great event that Honest Tea helps us host every year. It continues to grow in size and is always a big hit. We hope you will be able to join us!

About Seth Goldman and Honest Tea: Seth Goldman is President and TeaEO of Honest Tea, the company he co-founded out of his home in 1998 with Barry Nalebuff of the Yale School of Management. Today, Honest Tea is the nation’s top selling ready-to-drink organic bottled tea, and is carried in more than 100,000 outlets. In March 2011, Honest Tea was acquired by The Coca-Cola Company, creating a platform for national expansion and helping to further the reach and impact of Honest Tea’s mission.

The company has initiated community-based partnerships with its Fair Trade Certified™ suppliers in India, China, South Africa, and has created marketing partnerships with TerraCycle, National Forest Foundation and Citizen folding bikes. In 2008 Seth co-founded Bethesda Green, a local sustainability initiative in Honest Tea's hometown. Bethesda Green has installed dozens of recycling bins in Bethesda, helped create a program for restaurants to convert their grease waste into biodiesel, as well as creating Maryland’s first green business incubator.

Honest Tea received Greenopia.com's coveted 4-Leaf Rating as "the greenest beverage company" for the third year in a row and was recently ranked by The Huffington Post as one ofthe leading "8 Revolutionary Socially Responsible Companies."

Honest Tea and Net Impact: Since Honest Tea was founded, the company has hired at least one summer intern from Net Impact every year to join our team and help us continue exploring how business and sustainability can work together. Each year the MBA intern is tasked with helping manage projects close to Honest Tea's mission while getting a glimpse of what life is truly like inside a mission-driven, entrepreneurial company. Seth, who was a founding board member of Net Impact, is now a member of the Net Impact Advisory Board.

About the William James Foundation: The William James Foundation was founded in 2002 to support social entrepreneurs who were turning their passions into for-profit businesses.
