"Career Test Drives" are a unique experience that Mission Collaborative has designed to help you explore new industries, organizations and roles. In just two hours, you will have the opportunity to work on a real-world project presented by a DC business or non-profit.

We've teamed up with DC Net Impact to bring you a special Career Test Drive focused explicitly on social impact.

How it works

We've invited leaders from three organizations (startups, businesses, and nonprofits) to come present real world challenges they are currently facing. Participants choose the challenge they are most interested in working on, then spend the rest of the workshop working with their team to design a potential solution.

Our partner organizations:

ProInspire: Accelerating social impact by providing high quality talent and professional development to the social sector.

FLYE: Empowering disadvantaged youth in DC through entrepreneurship and leadership training

Spira: Using spirulina, a nutrient dense and environmentally friendly algae, to address malnutrition and food access.

What you'll get out of this experience:

• Get a taste of a new industry by working on a real-world mini-project
