Join DC Net Impact as we help DC Central Kitchen staff prepare meals for homeless shelters, transitional homes and other nonprofits in the D.C. area. DCCK is one of the city’s most dynamic and impactful social enterprises, working to serve institutional clients, address D.C.’s food deserts, reduce waste in the region’s food distribution system, and offer culinary training to unemployed men and women.

Start off the New Year by having positive on-the-ground impact, and meet fellow members of the local Net Impact community! Sign up now as volunteer spots are limited.

IMPORTANT:
Please arrive at 4:45 p.m. for a brief orientation session. Be sure to wear close-toed shoes and long pants. A hat or other head covering is also required in the kitchen; hair nets are provided. Meal preparation activities typically include chopping, peeling or washing ingredients.
