Academia Evolving for Purpose-Driven Education

What role do academic institutions have in shaping the next generation of purposeful leaders? A big one. Hear from representatives of different institutions to share how they are reimagining their frameworks to support their students. The discussion will provide an opportunity for knowledge sharing, spark new ideas and to identifying areas where collectively business schools can do more to offer knowledge and skill building that advances economic, social and environmental prosperity.

Building Equity and Inclusion on Campus

What does it take for universities today to authentically address and create racial equity on their campus and in their communities? In this interactive session, leaders from academia and the social sector will share their stories on a panel about how they are grappling with this question on campuses around the country. After the panel, attendees will be invited into small group dialog around this topic, sharing ideas and brainstorming around challenges they face today.

Professional Corner

On Friday, a specific section of the convention center will be reserved for professional attendees. The sessions for this group will also be clustered in this area. The goal of this is to help professionals build connection and community with each other. Professional level badges will be required to enter this space.

Professionals-Only Reception

At this pro-only event, attendees will get a behind the seas look at the Georgia Aquarium. Professionals will get to mix and mingle with speakers, other attendees, and exhibitors with some light hors doeuvres and an aquatic backdrop. The space at the aquarium has views of two large tanks, which include incredible whale sharks, manta rays, and beluga whales. Professionals will also have access to the Sips Under the Sea party at the aquarium!

Small Group Mentoring will provide groups of three to five attendees the rare networking opportunity to sit down and connect with leading professionals in the impact world. Attendees will be given the chance to ask mentors unique questions about their current work and career path.
