Now in it's tenth year, the day-long Sustainable Enterprise Conference is the North Bay’s premiere networking event for business, government, education, and community leaders seeking inspiration and education about green trends, policies and products. The 10th Annual Sustainable Enterprise Conference is about meeting inspiring people and finding about what some of our leading companies are doing to produce the necessary changes. It’s about finding ways our businesses, our government agencies and our community can work together to reboot our economy and put it on the necessary path.

Kat Taylor
Co-CEO | Beneficial State Bank
Kat is active in a variety of social business, public benefit and philanthropic ventures in the San Francisco Bay Area. Currently, she serves as CEO of Beneficial State Bank, a Community Development Financial Institution whose mission is to bring beneficial banking to low-income communities in an economically and environmentally sustainable manner. Beneficial State Bank is the result of a merger between OneCalifornia Bank, which Kat and her husband, Tom Steyer, founded in Oakland, CA, and ShoreBank Pacific, with offices in Oregon and Washington. Kat is also a Founding Director of TomKat Ranch Educational Foundation (TKREF) dedicated to sustainable food production through ranching, tours, research, and school lunch and garden programs. TKREF owns the social business LeftCoast GrassFed, which raises cattle in ways good for people and planet.

Blair Kellison
CEO | Traditional Medicinals
Blair came to Traditional Medicinals® in May 2008 as its CEO – taking the reins from co-founder Drake Sadler for the first time since Traditional Medicinals® was founded in 1974. Traditional Medicinals pioneered the herbal medicinal tea category and is now the 5th largest bagged tea company in the US and is distributed in over 50,000 retail outlets. The company is most proud of its leadership in environmental and social sustainability and is the #1 seller of organic tea in the US and the #1 seller of herbal fair trade in the US.

Marco Vangelisti
Founder | Essential Knowledge for Transition
Marco came to the US as a Fulbright scholar in mathematics and economics at the University of California in Berkeley. After a stint in the financial industry, Marco worked as visual artist on a full-time basis for 5 years and obtained a MFA focusing on the intersection between public art and ecology. Marco is currently developing Essential Knowledge for Transition – a curriculum for engaged citizens to understand the money and banking system, the economic system and the financial system and how we need to transform them.
