The Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (JEDI) Program Associates will support the expansion and integration of the JEDI strategy and programming for the organization. Reporting to the Senior Director, they will collaborate with the People Team and other business units to implement the strategies outlined in the Tides JEDI Strategy Plan.

The Green Building Initiative (GBI) is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization whose mission is to reduce climate impacts by improving the built environment. We deliver education, standards, assessments, and certifications developed by an inclusive and collaborative global network.

The Advisor provides service to a portfolio of partners and is adept at managing partner relationships. In addition, the Advisor assists departmental leadership on cross-functional teams and organizational projects as needed. The Advisor is a strong internal voice for partners to support them in navigating Tides Systems.

The Advisor, Philanthropic Services, is a core member of the Philanthropic Services team and the broader Partnership Services Department at Tides. This team provides integrated services for individual, family, foundation, and social change leader partners to support grantmaking, impact investing, advocacy, donor collaboration, and strategic advisory solutions. The Advisor manages a portfolio of partner relationships with diverse needs, interests, and values. This position will primarily support individuals and organizational partners.

The Senior Accounting Specialist, under the direction of the Accounting Manager, is responsible for the over sight of day-to-day accounts receivable and accounts payable activities, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of finance services daily for Tides Foundation.  

 The Senior Accounting Specialist is a non-exempt position. Non-exempt employees work a standard 40-hour work week. Time worked beyond 40 hours at manager’s discretion. 

This position is classified as part of our collective bargaining unit (SEIU 1021).  

The Accounting Specialist, under the direction of the Philanthropic Accounting Manager, is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of accounts payable and accounts receivable services on a daily basis for Tides Foundation Philanthropic operations.

Senior Accountants with Tides’ Fiscally Sponsored Projects team provide direct client support, addressing the accounting needs of our fiscally sponsored organizations and internal stakeholders. This role helps our clients achieve their missions by supporting their financial processes including budgeting, financial forecasting and reporting, and grant management for foundation and governmental funds.

Salary:  $65,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience
