Summary of the Position:
The Consultant will serve as the project manager for the research, identification, selection, and implementation of a new accounting system working in partnership with the Finance & Administration Team in Sept-Nov, to ensure deployment in December (to run concurrently with existing system for a month and ready as sole system January 1). The consultant will ensure thorough consultation with appropriate stakeholders (internally), build the technical/business requirements, establish interview meetings, demos, and webinars with prospective software companies, assist in the due diligence and contract review process (including negotiation), create a timeline for implementation, lead in implementation, develop appropriate training materials and assist in team and organizational wide education (as appropriate).

High Level Project Timeline:
Sept - Oct: scoping and needs assessment with internal team; systems research, presentation, and selection
Nov: implementation and training
Dec: new system operational and running concurrently with existing system; ongoing training and implementation as needed

Qualifications, Skills, Education, and Knowledge:
Experience working in similar consulting roles with other international NGOs
Experience with a variety of nonprofit accounting systems such as NetSuite, Sage, and QuickBooks, Women Deliver’s current system.
Be in a position to provide un-bias advice; provide transparency if receiving referral fee or other compensation from a specific vendor
Superior oral and written communication skills
Strong management and project coordination skills
Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to consistently delivering excellent-quality work
Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and resourcefulness in solving problems
