Customer Insights Senior Analyst

The Customer Insights & Innovation Team works to deepen our understanding of the Patagonia customer, drive business decisions using customer feedback & insights, and lead innovative approaches that enable Patagonia to more effectively engage and inspire the outdoors community. We are looking for a team member with strong analytical, problem solving, and stakeholder management skills who is excited to be a part of an evolving team that has a large impact across functions inside Patagonia. What You’ll Do

  • Develop a deep understanding of Patagonia customers using both quantitative and qualitative methods, and working with a variety of data (e.g., transactional, behavioral, demographic, survey, Voice of the Customer)
  • Solve customer-focused business problems through gathering and analyzing data, developing and testing hypotheses, and developing and communicating recommendations
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to identify, prioritize and operationalize customer experience improvements and/or new experiences
  • Lead and evolve our existing Voice of the Customer program to support key Retail, Customer Service, Product, and Brand partners
  • Scope problems and develop solutions in a creative and collaborative way
  • Prioritize competing projects to remain focused on execution and delivering results
  • Support and coach members of the Customer Insights team

Experience You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or related field
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a Consulting, Business Operations or Design role
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word capabilities
  • Customer research experience such as survey development, journey mapping, or persona development preferred
  • Familiarity with data management and visualization systems such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar preferred
