Summary of the Position:
The Graphic Designer works as part of the Communications Team and implements a wide range of projects including digital graphics, institutional publications, email templates, donor materials, event based graphics, and campaign and conference print materials. This new position reports to the Manager, Communications.

Design and produce organizational publications and print materials including reports, brochures, invitations, fact sheets, briefing papers, and Women Deliver collateral
Design multi-media materials including interactive content, animated content and videos working in partnership with other members of the Communications Team
Design web-based collateral for website, email, and social media
Lead in design of Women Deliver print and online campaigns, conference, and event materials
Manage image library
Manage brand guidelines and train staff in the proper use of branding elements
Lead in managing relationships with outside vendors, including other graphic designers, illustrators, and photographers
Partner with printers and procure bids, manage printing processes, and attend press checks
Create templates for websites and publications
Select images for web postings, publications, and online campaigns
Qualifications, Skills, Education, and Knowledge:
BA/BS required in Media, Communications, Digital marketing, Design or a related field
5-7 years of relevant work experience both in print and web projects; strong preference for experience working with nonprofits and/or campaign environment
Strong ability conceptualizing, designing and implementing wide range of design projects – print, digital, and graphics (including event, conference, and campaign focused)
Advanced experience in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, and Illustrator
Knowledge of HTML a strong plus
Knowledge of pre-press and printing process essential
Knowledge of digital and social media essential
Highly organized with knowledge of the design production process
Technical expertise in creating templates
Expertise in and passion for gender equality, international maternal, sexual and reproductive health and rights issues, with an emphasis on girls and women a plus
Strong organization and project management skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and work independently while meeting tight deadlines
Ability to apply strategic and creative thinking, while being persistent, motivated, proactive, energetic, and detail-oriented
Strong design sensibility
Must be able eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
