Hunts Point Alliance for Children

About Hunts Point Alliance for Children
The Hunts Point Alliance for Children (HPAC) is a Bronx-based nonprofit organization focused on building community, empowering parents, and ensuring all children have the resources, skills, and confidence to believe in their limitless potential. Our mission is to expand the hopes and potential of Hunts Point children—nurturing our young scholars along their path to college or career by unifying our diverse collective of community organizations to connect with every family with the resources they deserve.
HPAC accomplishes its goals by leveraging resources within and outside Hunts Point to provide options for learning, identify educational opportunities beyond Hunts Point, and offer a safe learning space for the children and families we serve. All HPAC’s programs – from early childhood through high school graduation and beyond -- focus on three key principles:literacy, school engagement and social-emotional competency.
