We are seeking an intern to support the formalization and expansion of our ESG/Sustainability Initiative.

The intern will report to the Director of Corporate Social Responsibility and will work closely with the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Core Team which consists of leaders from Dolby’s Legal, Community Relations, Global Workplace Solutions and Engineering groups. The intern will support the ESG Core Team, internal stakeholders and an outside consultant in the completion of a materiality assessment and goal setting process resulting in the creation of Sustainability Report. This role will allow the intern to work with many individuals and groups and to have a key role in increasing the company’s impact on environmental, social and governance issues.


-Provide project management and administrative support to Dolby’s ESG Initiative Create and manage project timelines, arrange meetings with key stakeholders, document decisions made and follow up with internal and external stakeholders on assigned tasks and deliverables, create presentations and materials as needed, etc.
-Assist with internal data gathering and research in support of the Sustainability report
-Assist with other projects and events related to the ESG Initiative and Community Relations


-Experience with, knowledge of and a passion for ESG/Sustainability issues and practices
-Project management experience and excellent organizational skills
-Solid knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
-Ability to work well as part of a team, including influencing others
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills


-Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability or a related field. Recent grads who are within 6 months of graduation are also eligible to apply
-Must be available to work 30-40 hours per week between Feb/Mar 2019 – December 2019
