We currently have an opening on The Nature Conservancy’s California Water Team, which seeks a Sustainable Water Management Project Manager. This position will lead and support a broad range of projects benefiting our important streams, groundwater dependent ecosystems and imperiled upland habitat species. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, excellent project manager and thrive working independently, as well as part of a team. We encourage diverse candidates to apply.
BA/BS degree and 5 years’ experience in conservation practice or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience managing complex and/or multiple projects, including staffing, workloads and finances under deadlines.
Experience in partnership development with non-profit partners, community groups and/or government agencies.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
