The first inaugural MBA Emerging Markets Case Competition was held Friday April 10th, 10am-4pm at Smith's DC suite in the Ronald Reagan building. The case is an unpublished, "real-time" challenge for an organization working on childhood malnutrition. The recommendations made as part of the competition will be of real consequence. This is an exciting new development for those interested in issues related to the emerging markets, and we are very happy to have the Office of Global Initiatives and CIBER and Smith's Emerging Market Association sponsoring this event. Participating universities included University of Washington and Georgetown University.
