Get an intro to the field of Nonprofit Consulting with Kristin Heller, previous Senior Consulting Director at Olive Grove Consulting.

Kristin will share a short presentation about nonprofit consulting and then engage students in discussion about nonprofit consulting careers and other opportunities to work or volunteer in the nonprofit sector.

Kristin has specialized in strategy, governance and fundraising, working with organizations in philanthropy, arts, environment, education, direct service, animal welfare, affordable housing, microfinance and more.

Before joining Olive Grove Kristin worked in San Diego in the nonprofit arts community in project management and marketing. She has served as a mentor for New Sector Alliance, directed the Board Fellows program for Net Impact at USF, and lead Challenge for Charity at USF, raising funds and engaging student volunteers for Special Olympics and the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE). Kristin also volunteered at the Glide Foundation in the fund development department, helping to execute the annual Warren Buffett Auction.

She served on the board at the Richmond District YMCA for over four years, leading annual campaign efforts for two years, and now sits on the board of Pets are Wonderful Support (PAWS).
