Rina Kupferschmid-Rojas, Director of Social Impact, MasterCard Center for Inclusive Growth
On March 4th, Bard MBA in Sustainability will be speaking with Rina Kupferschmid-Rojas, Director of Social Impact, MasterCard Center for Inclusive Growth. Rina leads the Center’s philanthropic investments and strategy to connect one million micro-entrepreneurs to the formal economy by 2020.

Before joining the Center, Rina was a tech entrepreneur who started and sold ESG Analytics – a socially responsible investment and analytical software firm. Before founding the company, she served in global business development roles at the European private equity firm Adveq and PricewaterhouseCoopers in Switzerland. Rina was named a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader in 2013, and is also a founding member of the New Innovators Council at the World Resources Institute. She is currently an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University where she teaches a graduate-level course in responsible investing. Kupferschmid-Rojas holds an M.A. and B.A in Communications and Management from the University of Fribourg in Switzerland.
