Net Impact AUP will have a vegan bake sale and donation table on campus for The Canopy Project on Earth Day. Our planet is currently losing over 15 billion trees each year. That’s 56 acres of forest every minute. The Canopy Project is working to stop that trend and turn it around. They're planting trees that help communities—especially the world’s impoverished communities—sustain themselves and their local economies. For every dollar spent on tree planting, 2.5 dollars is generated in local income and benefits. Help them restore tree cover and rebuild local economies. Every tree counts!
