This event is part of Net Impact's Dinner Series where 7-10 students meet with a professor to discuss specific topics relating to the professor's work and studies over a dinner from Roots. This gives students the opportunity to discuss topics they do not have the chance to take classes in or don't have time to discuss with their professor in class. It also provides a more intimate setting where students can talk freely and ask questions. This event will be held with Professor Crisman and the topic of the night will global sustainability. Discussion will focus on addressing the meaning of global sustainability, how it impacts our lives, where we see sustainability at UVA, the future of our planet, climate change and global warming, and how we can personally be more sustainable in our everyday lives.
