The Resilience Summit is an insightful and inspiring event for students and faculty of the University of Washington, modeled after the PNW Resilience Challenge put on by Sustainable Seattle. This year’s theme is centered around food; covering areas of knowledge ranging from supply chain management, triple bottom line, scalability of sustainability, and the relationship between businesses and sustainable practices. The Resilience Summit raises awareness about food sustainability knowledge, and offers an opportunity for students to hear from a diverse panel of speakers, network with local business leader, and further the important discussion of sustainable food, environment, and business practices.
