The first NI-Local based on Racial Equity in Affordable Housing Symposium was launched at the Greater Austin Black Chamber of Commerce. Speakers included Dan Zehr-Austin American Statesman economist; Phyllis Snodgrass, CEO of Austin Habitat for Humanity; Jeff Wilson, CEO of Kasitas (tiny houses); and Alan Graham, CEO of Community first! Villages (housing for the homeless). The symposium ended with a walking tour of east Austin and the changes in demographics.
