PANEL INFO

Microlending, a type of asmall business lending, has been empowering self-employed and small business owners with affordable and accessible capital. While much of the spotlight on microlending success has been on programs abroad, programs in the United States are providing much needed access to capital to people who would not otherwise be able to access a business loan through the formal financial sector. Hear from a panel of professionals who are working with entrepreneurs in Baltimore to access capital, create jobs, and drive community and economic change.

Panelists include:
* Ty Alston, Baltimore Lead, Kiva
* Cheryl DePace, Loan Specialist, Enterprise Development Group
* Moderator: Katie Igrec, Baltimore Net Impact Chapter Director
