Net Impact - CSU partnered with New Belgium Brewery in Fort Collins, Colorado to host a panel of brilliant women working in sustainability to discuss the work being done in Northern Colorado and what it is like being a woman in a growing field. Grace Wright, a member of Colorado State's Entrepreneurship faculty, moderated the panel, which included Tonie Miyamoto - Director of Communications & Sustainability for Housing and Dinning Services at Colorado State, Annette Meredith - City Energy Project Advisor for the City of Fort Collins and co-chair of the C3E steering committee, and Katie Wallace - CSR Program Manager at New Belgium Brewing Co.. New Belgium Brewery, which is 100% employee owned and women led, hosted the event in their tasting room and placed a discount on all beers served. The event was standing room only, with an estimated 150 students, professionals, and community members. The event was very successful and we will likely create a series of events with similar themes.
