Greater diversity on boards and across the organization not only makes good business sense, it is also simply the right thing to do. Diverse, competent, and independent boards and executive teams are linked to improved board effectiveness, better risk management, stronger corporate governance and ultimately, stronger financial performance. Although Canada continues to lag on board gender diversity compared to most developed country nations, institutional investors are increasingly pushing for progress—and they are getting results.

MacEwan University’s Social Innovation Institute, in partnership with AIMCo, CIBC Wood Gundy Remy Brown Investment Group, NEI Investments and the Net Impact Edmonton Professional Chapter, invite you to join a lunchtime panel discussion during Responsible Investment Week to explore how investors are exercising voice within the global financial system to effect positive outcomes for all.
