Tim Mohin, CEO of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the world's most widely used standard for corporate sustainability reporting, will chair an interactive discussion with participants, and share insights from his 35+ years navigating corporations to improve their sustainability.

Tim will share practical steps to get started and what the day-to-day experience of being “the designated driver at the corporate cocktail party” is really like, and openly offer advice for how sustainability professionals can have greater impact, and even explore ways how employees in other corporate functions can make a difference. He details the programs and processes needed to support a comprehensive corporate social responsibility effort, but, perhaps most importantly, he, alongside local CSR managers, will zero-in on the personal and professional skills needed to navigate corporate politics and get buy-in from sometimes skeptical colleagues. A borrel will follow.
